This platter has a story. It was shipped to us from the artisans in Colombia in the same box as 2 other platters. The U.S. Customs and Border Protection opened the box and drilled multiple holes in each platter and marked them with rough handling. When I opened the box and saw the damage, I cried in anger and used a great deal of profanity. More than a year later, we returned to Colombia with the damaged platters to have the artisans repair the damage. The repairs are well done and are not visible unless you purposely look for them (see pictures).

This Platter was made by hand in the Granja workshop in Pasto, Colombia. It measures 12 inches in diameter. It does not have a hanger on the back, but one could easily be attached. It is purely decorative and should not be used for food.
