Gilberto Granja, a master artisan of mopa mopa, has been creating amazing pieces for more than 61 years. At this time, this is the only piece we have made by him but hope to have more in the future. His pieces are decorated entirely by himself and take weeks to complete. As far as we have seen, the decoration seen on this box is unique to him, the way he mixes the color and highlights the decoration with raised detail is truly amazing. The bottom of the box is lined with black cloth.
